I was thrilled when Angie asked me to make her son's first birthday cake. All birthdays are special but the first one is extra special! We had discussed several ideas but ultimately it came down to making a cake that went along with the birthday invitation. The cake was designed using the same colors and pattern. This is a white cake with strawberry cream filling frosted in buttercream...mmmmmmm. The monkey is edible too! Angie was a former co-worker of mine and we've remained friends, so I remember when he was born and can't get over how fast he's growing. I hope Mr Kash loves every bit of it!
