Okay...i'm back :) it's been a few weeks but i haven't had a cake order either. It's okay though, Decemeber was just way busy for me anyhow. This cake had to be planned just right with my schedule because my work hours changed on Monday so it kind of threw things out of balance but i pulled it off! This cake was ordered by my friend Michelle for her husband's birthday. She was flexible with the day she wanted the cake also so that was super nice. I think the actual birthday was a couple of days ago but with the holiday over the weekend, a cake on Monday would have been kinda impossible, lol. The whole weekend is a blur...i don't think i even slept! lol. But...seriously, what better cake to get for a football fan than their team helmet right? She went all out this year with the Cowboys theme! Good job Michelle :)The cake is german chocolate with coconut pecan filling, frosted in buttercream and covered in fondant. She was pleased with it when she picked it up so i'm keeping my fingers crossed he loves it. Happy Birthday Dennis!
